有田焼の材料に拘らず、1980年代から材料の研究開発を始めていました。
そこで誕生したのが､極めて微細な穴を持つセラミックフィルターでした。
画期的なセラミックフィルターでしたが、当時は有田焼の販売も好調で、新たな取り組みをすることに対し、批判的な声もありました。
時代が移り、やがてセラミックフィルターに対する評価も高まり、国内外から注目を浴びるようになりました。

We started researching and developing materials in the 1980s, without being concerned about the materials used in Arita-yaki.
The result was a ceramic filter with extremely fine holes.
It was an epoch-making ceramic filter, but at the time, sales of Arita-yaki porcelain were strong, and some people were critical of the new approach.
As time went on, the ceramic filter eventually gained more recognition and attracted attention both in Japan and abroad.
